Landscape Structures Inc. announced today that they are accepting applications for the sixth annual Parks and Recreation State Speaker Scholarship program. The 2014-2015 program will support the appearances of keynote speakers at state parks and recreation associations’ annual or regional conferences. Scholarship applications are being accepted from August 1, 2014 to July, 31, 2015, and stat associations will be notified of scholarship award within 30 days of received application.
State associations that are chosen will receive a scholarship of $2,500 to support conference speakers whose messages are focused on topics related to play, environmental stewardship or other professional development topics. Scholarship applications will be accepted from Aug. 1, 2014 to July 31, 2015, and will be awarded on a first-come, first-served basis.
