In the summer of 2012, Oakland County Parks and Recreation department completed Catalpa Oaks County Park playground. This vast playground features two play structures, one for children 2-5, and one for ages 5-12. This summer the equipment manufacture, Landscape Structures, flew out a professional photographer and videographer to showcase the park.
The original renderings and the final project are incredibly similar in play equipment and colors.
The playground was designed by the Oakland County Parks & Rec Department and CPSI Recreation Consultants at Penchura, LLC. Combining the modern Evos structure with traditional post and clamp PlayBooster components creates an exciting and challenging environment for kids. With more than 13 different climbing pieces, Catalpa Oaks playground helps develop children’s hand eye coordination and balance.
The Sunbeam Climber has unique clamping points and angles, providing a fun challenge.
Kids develop balance on the Canyon Climber and it is a fun way to traverse between two decks.
