Carl Pietila attended Michigan Technological University and received a degree in Business Management. Carl originally worked in the recreation industry selling and installing swimming pools. He worked in the automotive industry as a designer for several years prior to joining Penchura in 2007. Carl lives in the Hartland area with his wife and their 5 sons and 4 daughters. He enjoys vacationing in the Houghton/Hancock area of the Upper Peninsula. His spare time is spent on the water, boating, waterskiing , and fishing.
