| We are excited to announce the 2018 Legacy of Play contest in partnership with Kiwanis International has launched! This year’s contest marks the fifth year that we will help a deserving Kiwanis club bring a playground to their community.
The winning club will receive $25,000 (US) in playground equipment to be used toward a Landscape Structures playground project of their choice. The contest is open to all Kiwanis clubs who agree to complete their project on or around Kiwanis One Day 2019, Kiwanis International’s signature day of service. Qualified contestants may enter the contest here. Entries will be accepted through Saturday, May 12. Following the submission period, Facebook users will have the opportunity to vote on their favorite project; this is a great way for Kiwanis clubs to engage their community and gather support for and awareness of their project! A jury will select the winner from the top 10 vote recipients and the winner will be announced on or around June 14. This is a great opportunity to connect with local Kiwanis clubs and introduce the contest and remind them of our partnership with Kiwanis International. Signature community projects are important to the clubs and this is a great time for them to consider a playground if they haven’t yet. This is also an opportunity to connect clients who are currently working on funding playground projects with local Kiwanis clubs to participate in this contest.
